In this clip you can see how Sheba releases trauma as a natural part of her sleep. She is naturally resetting her nervous system to bring her back into a self regulated state while asleep. Humans have evolved beyond what is good and healthy for them. Our need to attach relationally has impeded our natural organismic ability to self regulate. The TRE exercise is one way that we can do this for ourselves. EMDR is another treatment that facilitates this self regulating process to happen.
